Wrestling-Fans aufgepasst! Es gibt ein neues iOS-Spiel, in dem ihr die Stars der WWE spielen könnt: WrestleFest Premium (
AppStore) für iPhone und iPod touch sowie WrestleFest HD (AppStore) für das iPad von THQ.
Allerdings musst du nicht nur ein Fan von John Cena, The Rock, Randy Orton, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Undertaker, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Rey Mysterio und “Macho Man” Randy Savage - diese Stars findest du alle im Spiel - sein, sondern auch ein Fan von astreinen Retro-Spielen. Denn genau so eines haben wir hier vor uns.
Es gibt also keine hochauflösende 3D-Grafik und flüssige Animationen, sondern pixeligen Retro-Look mit ruckeliger Bildwiederhulungsrate. Dazu passend wir das Spiel über ein virtuelles Steuerkreuz, mit dem du dich im Ring bewegen kannst, und nur zwei Aktionsbuttons gelenkt, was anfänglich doch etwas Übung und Verständnis benötigt.
Wer den Titel gerne vor dem Kauf der 2,39€ bzw. 2,99€ teuren Vollversionen anspielen möchte, hat mit den kostenlosen Lite-Versionen WrestleFest Lite (AppStore) und WrestleFest HD Lite (AppStore) Gelegenheit dazu.

The WWE arcade game fans have cherished for decades is back and better than ever! WWE WrestleFest delivers classic WWE action in 2-D. The faithfully recreated experience is complete with current day WWE Superstars like John Cena and Randy Orton, as well as iconic WWE Legends like Jake “The Snake” Roberts and “Macho Man” Randy Savage, all poised to compete in a variety of popular match types within several well-known arenas. In WWE WrestleFest, players may also challenge themselves to win a series of championships on the Road to WrestleMania and engage in multiplayer action.
