Heute möchten wir dir ein neues Spiel vorstellen, das gestern offiziell angekündigt wurde. Es handelt sich um den Action-Shooter Epoch. Entwickelt wird das Spiel von Uppercut Games, einem von zwei erfolgreichen Spieleentwicklern (u.a. Bioshock, Tribes: Vengeance, Freedom Force and Fallout: Tactics) neugegründeten Studio aus Australien.
Im Spiel steuerst du einen Roboter in einer apokalpischen, menschenleeren Welt voller feindlicher Roboter, die dir leider nicht wirklich freundlich gesinnt sind und dir allerhand Blei in dein blechernes Gewand jagen wollen. Das du dies nicht tatenlos mit dir machen lässt, ist wohl kaum einer Erwähnung wert.
Einen ersten Vorgeschmack zum Gameplay kannst du im unten stehenden Trailer bekommen. Das Video zeigt ein actionreiches Spiel mit hervorragender Grafik - kein Wunder, das Spiel verwendet den Unreal 3 Engine, der u.a. schon Infinity Blade in für iOS neue Grafikdimensionen gehoben hat. Derzeit gibt es noch kein offizielles Releasedatum, das Spiel soll aber im 4. Quartal diesen Jahres im AppStore erscheinen.

Uppercut’s developers have drawn on their 24 years of combined experience with the powerful Unreal Engine to render “EPOCH” in visually stunning and highly detailed 3D graphics.
The official release date for “EPOCH” will soon be confirmed.
